Mary Lou Curtis. Approved. The
treasurer report was given by Bridget. Patsy moved
to accept the treasurer report. Lynn
Rude seconded it. Approved. Bridget stated she will be sending out a
spreadsheet with further breakdown of the budget later this month.
Charm packs were on the table at the meeting. They were free for the taking as long as you
bring back to the next meeting something pieced together from the charm
pack. You may add any additional fabric
to the charm pack that you wish. It
will be fun to see what returns next month.
Committee Reports
Quilt Show – Patsy
stated we need to people to sign up for working the show and to help set up the
show starting on Friday at 12:30 at WITC.
Betty’s sons will be delivering the quilt racks to us at WITC at that
time. Please bring hammers, pliers, step
ladders, and vice grips to help with setting up the racks. The food court will be open on Sat. only from
8-2. We also need quilting props to
decorate at the quilt show. Please bring
them on Friday as well. Barb will be collecting and displaying the
Paint Chip Challenge. The class on
Saturday at the show had 12 people signed up so far. Eileen encouraged everyone at the meeting to
sign up for the class as she felt they would really enjoy it. The Raffle baskets proceeds will be divided
between THUG (Totally Humble Under God – for homeless teens in St. Croix Cty)
and the guild voted on the other charity to be the Back-Pack Program. The was moved by Cindy Peer and seconded by
Barb Rogers. Betty Schmit brought up the
fact of our quilt racks for the show are heavy and are aging. She volunteered to look into lighter racks
for the future. She will report back
with more information later.
Caring Quilts – Linda
Andert picked up a bunch of caring quilts that were quilted by Jean at
Topstitchery. They need to be bound
